Woodland Green Meanderers have designated ex-Watford commander Troy Deeney as lead trainer following the takeoff of David Horseman by common assent.
Deeney, 35, has been working in a player-mentor limit since joining the Association Two club in the mid year.
Horseman, 39, spent just five months in control and has left following the group's FA Cup exit to Blackpool.
Meanderers have won just four association matches this season and sit 23rd in the table, five focuses from security.
Woodland Green proprietor Dale Vince said he expected to "act definitively to work on our exhibitions and association position".
